This is a fantastic bike for younger kids! If you're looking for your kid's first "real" mountain bike, this is a great option. It's sturdy and well-constructed. The assembly takes a little time, but it is worth the finished product. The twist shifter is easy for a kid to master if this is their first experience with gears. The brakes are substantial enough to be safe. I highly recommend this bike!

Easy to assemble and follow along instruction booklet. Truthfully, it's pretty self-explanatory if you've ever assembled a bike before. The color is vibrant and beautifully decorated. Not at all heavy, so it's a nice smooth ride with great handling. Seat height can be adjusted with no tools. Age bracket specified is very accurate depending on your child's size of course.
