Big hit with granddaughter
My granddaughter, age 4, tall and thin for her age absolutely loves this bike. It looks like it will grow well with her. I hope all materials will hold up. The description of the bike states,"Leather Handbar Grips
Leather handlebar grips, softer than rubber grips, more friendly for kids. These are vinyl, so that is deceptive marketing. I hope that they don't split like vinyl often does.
I am concerned about the tread on the training wheels, hoping it will last until she is ready for her two wheel launch. They are extremely thin, so that is a concern.
"Miss Pink" is stored inside, and away from the elements.
The style of the bike is cute, and a fun retro look. The basket is very cheap plastic weave.
So excited to gift my 2 and 4 year olds their first bikes for Christmas! Easy to assemble and love the style. The basket for my daughter’a bike was damaged. I contacted customer service and received a very timely response from Nancy. She corrected my issue immediately by sending a new basket (and included a cute new helmet too). My replacement item arrived in just a matter of days. Thankful for great customer service and looking forward to bike riding days!
